Love dogs but not quite ready to commit to another full-time companion? Perhaps you’d like to be a foster parent to one of our newly rescued mutts… While we search for permanent homes for our dogs, we rely on foster homes to provide them with a comfortable but temporary place to stay.

Some people worry that it’ll be too hard to say goodbye, but don’t stress – we only send our dogs to the very best permanent homes, and many of our foster parents keep in touch with the new owners. And besides, the rewards that you receive for saving a life and opening your heart and home to a dog in need will far outweigh the momentary sadness you may feel when you send a pup off to the home of his dreams.
