Kennels (2nd hand or new)

Protection from the elements is a luxury for many township dogs.

Other basic necessities

Blankets, towels, leads, bowls, kennels, carrier crates, newspaper, paper towel, tick and flea shampoos and treatments – it all makes such a difference.

Air Time

In order to save lives we need to be able to communicate and often have life threatening emergencies which need to be dealt with. Without airtime to do this we simply cannot save lives. If you are able to donate airtime or become a regular airtime sponsor please contact us.

Bakkie

African Tails does not have a dedicated bakkie which is becoming a real stumbling block to us furthering our work so please help us source one in exchange for branding, signage, advertising and all the credit a bakkie donor deserves.

Chest Freezer & Automatic Washing Machine

Our Hound Haven in Klapmuts requires the donation of a chest freezer to store donated, home-made, ready-cooked food – so if you have one gathering dust – it would be of tremendous use to us. Also – the Haven Heroes would love to be able to wash mangey dog bedding in a machine separate to the one they use for their own garb – so an additional washing machine at the haven is a must!

Time-Out

African Tails has a lot of unsung heroes who have given their all to the township dogs this year and we would love to reward them with a night or 2 away in the countryside. If anyone would like to sponsor a weekend away / knows of a venue that would sponsor a getaway for our valuable staff on the ground to refresh them for the year ahead – that would be wonderful.
