The Dog Dude of Du Noon

Douglas is a Du Noon resident who joined our pack as an occasional volunteer who helped us in the field to round up dogs for sterilisation. Douglas was unemployed at the time and showed such dedication and compassion for the dogs in his area and so we employed him on a full time basis and equipped him with a bakkie and various tools of the trade. Douglas is an invaluable asset to the team as he is on the ground every day, saving one dogs by the dozen and educating his fellow township residents on how to love and care for their dogs. He delivers kennels, food, rounds up dogs for sterilisation, catches elusive strays with ease and has saved many from pain, suffering and neglect. |
